February 10, 2010 – Lavante’s Innovative Products Highlighted at the National Association of Purchasing and Payables (NAPP) Annual Conference
Lavante presenting “best practices” sessions on vendor management
San Jose – February 10, 2010 – Lavante, the leading provider of on-demand profit recovery and vendor information solutions for Fortune 1000 companies, will be demonstrating its latest on-demand profit recovery auditing, tax ID (TIN) management and vendor portal, and new recovery estimation software at the 18th Annual National Association of Purchasing and Payables Conference. Lavante and Lavante customers will also be presenting at a number of sessions and seminars during the event, held at The Marriott Resort, Marina Del Rey, California, February 14-17, 2010.
Lavante will demonstrate its on-demand Strategic Recovery, TIN Management and Vendor File Management portal, and InSight profit recovery estimation software. The latest versions of the software help clients increase recoveries, better manage their vendor files, and prevent missed discounts and profit leakage. The TIN Management self-service vendor portal automates the process of collecting and validating tax ID numbers (TINs) with the IRS and speeds vendor on-boarding with automated OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) screening and address validation with the USPS (US Postal Service). The InSight software utilizes sample data provided by a prospective client, history from Lavante’s vendor network and Lavante’s analytics to estimate recovery results and vendor file updates likely to be achieved from an audit engagement.
Ellen Porterfield from Holland America Line, Inc. will present “Approaching Recovery as a Process, Not a Project,” along with Tom Flynn, VP of marketing, at Lavante. Sherry DePew, VP of account management at Lavante, will present “Managing Your Vendor File to Maximize Profits.” DePew will also present a seminar entitled “Vendor Portals: What’s All the Buzz About?”
