Joe Flynn — Founder and CEO

CEO Joe Flynn co-founded Lavante in 2001 with the vision of transforming the traditionally manual-based AP audit recovery industry through the use of sophisticated on-demand technologies. His 5 years in management with the then-leader in audit recovery spurred him to develop an automated, solution to the manual and static audit processes that failed to recover significant lost profits in vendor credits. Through its rapid growth and premier client list Lavante has since been recognized as the on-demand leader and innovator in the areas of Supplier Information Management and Profit Recovery.

Prior to founding Lavante, Joe served as the Director of Operations for the statement audit group of Howard Shultz and Associates (HSA), then the nation’s leading recovery auditing firm. At HSA, Joe held a series of progressive positions in the areas of marketing, product strategy, sales management and operations. Joe is a recognized expert in the field of P-to-P processes.

Selected as one of the 40 leading executives under the age of 40 in 2009 by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, Joe was twice named as one of the Top 50 Irish Americans in Technology in the Silicon Valley by the Irish Technology Leadership Group, ITLG and was recently selected as one of the, “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.

Joe serves as the Chairman of the Board for Work2Future, the non-profit Workers Investment Board of Silicon Valley as well as member-at-large on the board of directors for the Silicon Valley chapter of ACG. He holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Santa Clara.
